Privacy policy
Manouy runs loyalty cards that live in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, on behalf of local shops. This page explains what data passes through us, why, and who answers for it.
Who processes what
A shop's customer data belongs to that shop. The shop is the database owner (בעל המאגר); Manouy is only the processor (מעבד), and uses the data solely to run that shop's loyalty program. If you hold a card and want to exercise a right, contact the shop that gave it to you — they decide, we carry out.
What is collected
At sign-up: your name, your phone number, the day and month of your birth, and your consent to receive messages. The birth year is asked separately and stays optional: it helps the shop understand its customers, and is never needed for the birthday message. In use: the date and time of your visits, the ticket amount when the counter enters it, and the item taken when it is noted.
What is never collected
No card number ever passes through Manouy or reaches our logs. Merchant payments are handled by PayPlus, and what comes back to us from them is redacted before it is written.
Marketing consent
It is explicit, given at sign-up, and time-stamped — as Amendment 13 to the Privacy Protection Law requires. No screen in the product can change it afterwards: it enters the record through the sign-up form, and through that alone.
Your rights
You may ask to see the data about you, to have it corrected, or to leave the program. The request goes to the shop running the program; they pass it to us and we carry it out. You may also write to us directly at the address in our legal notice, and we will point you the right way.
Our processors
Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting of the site and services), PayPlus (merchant payments), Apple and Google (distribution and updating of cards in wallets), LocationIQ (address lookup when setting up a shop), ImprovMX (mail forwarding). Some of these providers operate outside Israel, so your data may be stored or processed there.
